PhotobucketWe had a fun weekend with our new “tin can”. I love these old vintage travel trailers. I just can’t help it.

Here are some more shots. We parked the trailer at the pond last night and had a nice dinner then camped out. We tried to disconnect from the world, but Rob just had to email pictures to facebook.

MSU gave me the OK today to do my internship at hospice. Much of my current job will apply toward the internship. The rest of the needed time I’ll get by researching some issues in hospice and grant writing. So it will be great for hospice and great for me.

Classes start in September!

We had a busy weekend working on new gardening beds. Thankfully we had a break yesterday and spent a wonderful day in Toledo with family.

Here are some pictures of our garden beds…in progress and as they are tonight. After the last garden picture check out my new favorite tool.

We are having a great time in Grand Rapids for our girls shopping weekend. Linda and Nicole came from Harbor Springs, Yvonne from Weidman, Adrie and Mom from Mt. Pleasant …we met up with Amanda who lives here and had lunch then shopped all day yesterday. We had a nice dinner at Olive Garden then more shopping. The young girls went swimming after dinner.

Winston discovered this turkey nest tonight.   It was just off the trail to wedding hill at the base of this tree.

Today is the 80th birthday of one of my most favorite people. Jo and I have worked together at hospice since 1992 and she has been a big part of what made it feel like family there for me.

She’s in the process of retiring now but still volunteering a couple of days a week at the office.

I have a million funny stories about Jo. But I have to get ready to attend her birthday tea.
Happy Birthday Jo!
